Project Scope: On Behalf of the Cayman Islands Government (CIG), the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) invites qualified service providers to submit proposals in response to Request for Proposals # MHA/15-16/12. The successful proponent will be expected design and deliver a Fire Rescue Boat.
Description of Services: The Cayman Islands Fire Service requires a Fire Rescue boat that meets it’s specifications in order for the Owens Roberts International Airport (ORIA) to increase its present level of service from a Category 7 to a Category 9. The propose change of the airport’s category is to accommodate the scheduled movements of British Airways Boeing 777 that is currently utilizing the Owen Roberts International Airport as a Nominated Diversion and for the propose regular scheduled flights that is anticipated to commence in June of this year to Owen Roberts International Airport.
Project Scope – The Cayman Islands Fire Service is procuring a new Fire Rescue boat/vessel in order to meet its legal obligations to the Owen Roberts International Airport (ORIA) operational guidelines. The successful proponent will manufacture and deliver a fire rescue boat/vessel as per the minimum specification outlined in the bid document.
